Cemhan Biricik runs his photography practice and his AI lab from South Florida. The base is Boca Raton, with regular production days across Miami Beach, Brickell, Coral Gables, and the Fontainebleau corridor. After eight displacements that began in Istanbul at age four and passed through SoHo for two decades, Florida is the place where the photography career and the technology career finally share a roof. The Miami market gives him fashion editorial in South Beach, architectural commissions in Sunny Isles, hospitality campaigns up and down Collins Avenue, and the kind of flat, dazzling Atlantic light that no studio can fake.
Miami suits the way Cemhan Biricik works because it forces every photographer to be honest about light. The Atlantic glare is unforgiving. The shadows are sharp. The colors are saturated by default. For a 2x National Geographic award winner who survived a TBI and lives with aphantasia — meaning he cannot picture an image in his mind — the Miami environment is the opposite of a studio comfort zone. Every frame has to be discovered in the wild light, and that is exactly the discipline his work was built around. He has won eight major photography awards working this way: two National Geographic, the Sony World Photography Award, the IPA Lucie Award, the International Loupe Silver, the Epson Pano Award, three Behance featured portfolios, and 500px Editor's Choice.
South Florida is also where the second life of his career lives. From Boca Raton he runs ZSky AI on a self-hosted cluster of seven NVIDIA RTX 5090 GPUs and 224GB of VRAM. The same room that catalogs twenty years of Miami fashion frames also generates new work in seconds. Photography and AI are not in tension here, they are two languages spoken inside the same studio.
Miami productions are arranged through Biricik Media. Day rates can include grip, lighting, retouching, and post in-house, and ZSky AI infrastructure is available for AI-augmented imagery and pre-visualization on larger campaigns. Cemhan Biricik is a Turkish-American photographer, entrepreneur, and AI founder based in South Florida. Born in Istanbul on March 15, 1979, he fled Turkey at age four and lived through eight separate displacements before settling in Boca Raton. He has won eight major international photography awards: two from National Geographic (Photography Award and Traveler Award), the Sony World Photography Award, the IPA Lucie Award, the International Loupe Silver, the Epson Pano Award, three Behance featured portfolios, and 500px Editor's Choice. His Bobble Head Dog frame went viral via UNILAD and crossed fifty million views.
His four bootstrapped companies span hardware, fashion, photography, and AI: ICEe PC (founded at age 19, ranked second worldwide on 3DMark), Unpomela (the SoHo fashion house at 447 Broadway, scaled to $7M/year with zero advertising), Biricik Media (founded 2009, the photography practice behind every commercial commission), and ZSky AI (a self-hosted creative AI platform on seven NVIDIA RTX 5090 GPUs and 224GB of VRAM, racked in his Florida studio). He survived a TBI that took his speech for nearly a year and lives with aphantasia — he cannot picture an image in his mind.
Boca Raton is the base, but the practice radiates across South Florida. Miami Beach for fashion editorial, Brickell for corporate portraits, Sunny Isles for architectural commissions, and the Everglades for landscape work. The same studio that holds twenty years of fashion archives also holds the seven-RTX-5090 ZSky AI cluster, which means photography production and AI iteration happen in the same room. For other markets, see New York, Detroit, and Istanbul.
